This is the main Chatteris Programme that all CNETs participate in. CNETs are placed in a school to gain valuable work experience and to help deliver the Chatteris English Development Programme (CEDP) in schools. CNETs learn to teach English as a global language, improve their collaboration, communication and management skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Chatteris International Graduate Programme allows university graduates from any discipline to contribute directly to the life and learning experience of Hong Kong students. As a CNET, you will be placed full time in a local school to help improve the English language environment and motivate students to speak English. You will also have the opportunity to develop a lasting insight into Hong Kong and Chinese culture and to form lifelong international friendships with the team of CNETs working alongside you. Teaching in a Hong Kong school environment is a challenging and rewarding experience. CNETs develop many valuable skills, such as confidence, flexibility, patience, communication and an appreciation of cultural diversity. In addition to professional in-school experience, the Chatteris International Graduate Programme offers further opportunities, including project management, career development and community work. These initiatives provide graduates with skills that can be easily transferred to any future career. Extensive support and training is provided throughout the year. Additional opportunities are available to support those who would like assistance in bridging the gap from English tutor to a qualified TESOL teacher. A Chatteris representative visits universities every year to hold presentations and information sessions for interested students and graduates. For interested applicants who cannot meet the representative during these trips.
REQUIREMENTS:
University graduates of any discipline with a bachelor's degree or higher qualification; native English speaker or native-level English competence; excellent clarity of speech; must have a keen interest in working with children, teenagers, young adults or perhaps considering a teaching career. No previous experience is needed as training will be provided. We are looking for the right personality and attitude.
