Chatteris International Graduate Programme - Job Description

As a CNET you will help implement an English Enhancement Programme in a Hong Kong school with guidance and support from Chatteris. This programme is an enhancement programme complementing the English curriculum of the schools. The focus of the programme is:

To enhance the schools’ English language environment
To develop students' speaking and listening abilities

Your duties will be:

To work in partnership with Chatteris to design and deliver the English Enhancement Programme to help improve the standard of English of the students
To help promote an English speaking environment in the school
To design and deliver collaborative teaching lessons with local teachers for a class of 30-40 students
To design and deliver small class lessons for not more than 20 students per class in schools
To prepare lesson plans and resources, particularly during non-teaching periods
To have informal chats with students during breaks, lunch and after school
To organize extra-curricular activities including lunch prizes, outings, English Days, drama, sports, debates and discussion sessions, English clubs etc.
To decorate and manage the English Room / English Corner
To help promote curriculum and staff development in the school
