Frequently asked questions from schools
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have other questions.

Q1. When is the deadline to apply for the Chatteris school programme?
We request that both our existing partner schools and schools interested in joining our programme the first time to submit an application by February every year. Please go to the 'Contact Us' page to book a time for meeting. We strongly encourage the "new schools" to set up a meeting with us before submitting an application in order to discuss objectives, plans and needs.
Q2. Does Chatteris have any criteria for selecting their programme schools?
Chatteris would like to ensure the alignment of goals and maintain a close collaboration with the schools to create a win-win partnership throughout the year. As a result, schools are strongly encouraged to set up a meeting with us prior to submitting their application, so that we can gain an understanding of each other's expectations and needs, which is critical to our future collaboration.
Q3. What is the working hours of CNETs?
The CNETs work a maximum of 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Schools may decide the start and end times for CNETs, which they deem most suited to serve the needs of students.

Q4. Can CNETs join other activities organised by our school (e.g. school picnic, Open Day)?
Yes, Chatteris encourage CNETs to join activities organised by the school, such as school picnic and open day. This would provide students with more opportunities to interact with our CNETs and widen their language exposure..
